Check in:
Please check in between 15:00 and 23:00. Please pay for the accommodation fee, and fill in your registration card.
For visitors from overseas, please show your passport.
If you are arriving after 23:00, please inform us beforehand.

Check out:
Please check out by 10:00 am.

Before checking in on the day of your stay, we can keep your luggage from 7:00 am. After checking out, we can keep your luggage until 23:00 on the same day of your check out.

For the dormitory rooms an additional fee of 1,500 yen per hour is added for late check-out.
For the private rooms an additional fee of 1,000 yen x the number of guests from the booking is added per hour for late check-out.

We have card-type room keys. After checking in, you can keep your card key to go out.
Please return the card key to the front desk at check out.

Our room doors are locked automatically. Please make sure that you have the card key when you go out.

No, however, the front door is locked after midnight for security reasons. Please use the night time entrance next to the front entrance if you are coming back after midnight.

You have to be over 10 years old to stay at the dormitory-type room. Children under 10 years old can stay in a room other than a dormitory room; therefore, if you have any children under 10 years old, choose a room other than a dormitory room.

We have each 2 rooms for 6-person mixed dormitory room and 6-person female only dormitory room. Therefore, even if you book it for a group, there is a possibility that the whole group will not be able to stay in the same room.

Children under the age of 6 can sleep with their parents in their beds for free if it's a private room.

We take precautions when handling guests under the age of 18 who stay on their own.
The consent form from a guardian must be submitted when a guest under the age of 18 stays alone, or when two guests under the age of 18 stay together.
Please inform us when guests under the age of 18 will be staying.
Regarding the consent form, please bring the forms of all the guests under the age of 18 to the reception when checking-in.
The personal information provided will only be used for the purpose of the consent form. We will not provide or disclose personal information to third parties.
If a guardian’s consent cannot be confirmed at the time of check-in, they will be contacted by phone for confirmation. After confirming, we will ask for a completed consent form from a guardian to be submitted via FAX or post that will arrive at a later date. If a guardian faxes the form to us,
please make sure that it will arrive no later than 4days before the check-in date.

Private rooms with a unit bathroom have a bath tub and a toilet in the room.
For other rooms, please use the shared shower room and toilet located outside the room.

We have three washing machines and driers (with detergent) available 24 hours (for a fee).

There is a shared kitchen space on the 2^nd floor with a microwave, toaster, thermos bottle, refrigerator, ice-making machine, plates, and cookware available for you to use.

We have free coffee, tea, green tea, and water.

  <When staying in a dormitory-type room (except for private-type)>
Guest under 10 years old: We do not allow you to stay in the dormitory-type room.
Guest from 10 to 14 years old: You can stay in the dormitory-type room only when accompanied by a parental guardian.
Guest from 15 to 17 years old: We do not allow to stay at our hotel alone unless you have permission from your parental guardian.
To stay with us, all guests from 15 to 17 years old in the group have to have permission from their parental guardians.

We’re sorry but you cannot pay with gift cards.

For guests in a group of up to 9 people, please call the hotel directly or cancel from the website you made a reservation, by 3 days prior to your check-in date.

For guests in a group of more than 10 people, please call the hotel directly or cancel from the website you made a reservation, by 4 weeks prior to your check-in date.
For cancelation after the period specified above, the cancelation method is the same, but please be aware that a cancelation fee will arise.

When cancelled 3 days to on the day of your stay: 100% of the accommodation charge

Yes. Please write your full name and the date of check-in, and send your parcel with c/o R.STAR HOSTEL.

You can receive your parcel at the front desk at check-in.

We’re sorry, but we cannot allow anyone other than our guests enter the room from the view point of public morals, crime prevention and fire protection.
