"Gion Matsuri" Festival 2018
The Gion Festival is coming soon to Kyoto! It is one of Japan's three major festivals. Starting with the Yamaboko patrol, you can enjoy various traditional japanese cultural activities and performances! The festival is held in mid-July, but the Yamaboko patrol can be seen on July 17th and 24th. In the streets surrounding the festival, stalls are open from the 14th to the 16th , selling a variety of traditional Japanese crafts, delicious street food, and there are even game stalls where you can play to win prizes!
